Easy Keypad Lock
Have you ever place
you mobile phone in your jeans pocket only to find out later (if at all)
that you accidentally dialed out? As a result, you may have resorted to
using the native keypad lock on your phone - even if you have to enter a
5-digit lock code every time.
What if you only want to lock the keypad (with the minimum amount of
hassle) to stop accidental key presses? Well, with ClickAssign it
couldn't be easier. Simply double click the assigned hotkey (e.g. the
'#' key) and that's it! Instant keypad lock! To unlock, simply double
click the same key again, at any time from any screen.
Easy Backlight
Does your backlight
keep timing out when you're trying to read on your mobile?
Simply assign the Backlight utility to a hotkey (e.g. the '*' key) and
enable it at any time with a simple and convenient double-click.
While enabled, the backlight will stay on permanently until you
double-click your hotkey again, returning the backlight to its default
timeout state.
Easy Launcher
Assign your favourite
application to a hotkey (e.g. the '0' key) and launch it with a simple double-click without having to
hunt for the desired icon.
The next time you need to run an application that is not immediately
visible on your mobile's desktop - imagine how convenient it would be to
launch it with a simple double-click of a hotkey?
Even better - why not assign a hotkey to the native 'Pinboard'
for fast access to a whole range of your favourite applications.
Once you start using ClickAssign
you'll never want to be without it.
Tip
of the Month*
- Assign your mobiles
'Internet Connection Manager' program (Z:\System\Apps\ConnectionMonintorUI\ConnectionMonintorUI.app)
to a hotkey so you can quickly and conveniently check to see if your
mobile browser has really disconnected from the internet
(e.g. after downloading software, ringtones, browsing, etc).
If you use a pre-pay mobile service this tip may stop you burning up
all your credits unnecessarily. If you are sometimes surprised
at the size of your monthly bill or that you suddenly have no
credits left after a recent top-up it may just be because you
inadvertently left your mobile connected online.
