What if you could make your phone 'fake' an incoming ring whenever you needed to make someone think you're on a call?  This is where XCaller comes to your rescue!

XCaller allows you to quickly and discreetly set your phone to ring after a specified countdown. Use the simulated incoming call to politely excuse yourself from a group/person or make somebody think you are receiving a call.

XCaller can also be used to:

• Wake you up after a specified nap time
• Keep track of the 'time left' on your eBay/Auction item
• Alert you when a cooking duration is complete
• Alert you to something that needs to be done in 'X' minutes time.
• Alert you when your favorite TV show is about to start
• Remind you how much time is left on the parking meter.

Simply set XCaller to play any ringtone or your own recorded audio file to remind you when time is up.

Tip of the Month*

• If you want to ensure a ‘real’ incoming call doesn't ring while you are 'faking' it - set your phone to 'silent mode' before XCaller calls you. If your phone is already set to vibrate in silent mode you would be discreetly alerted to a real incoming call without anyone knowing.

This version contains the following updates:

• The full version of XCaller v1.08 has now earned 'Symbian Signed' certification.
  Note: No new functionality has been added to version 1.08
  

• An option now exists to make XCaller display in the foreground (i.e. pop-up) when a countdown expires.

• Your previously entered text  will be displayed when re-entering the reminder screen.
• The time-editor in the 'Set Countdown' screen now increments at a faster pace.

• You can now set independent ringtones for XCaller and Reminder alerts.
• Your 'reminder' message is now displayed as a preview in the countdown screen.

• When being used as a reminder you can now enter a text message to be displayed when XCaller calls you.

• The [Abort] button would disappear if another sound was set during an 'active' countdown.
  This has now been fixed.
  
• If an alarm activated while you were viewing another screen you would be stranded in that screen.
  This has now been fixed.
  
• XCaller would always be reset to the default ringtone whenever the application was re-run after exiting.
  This has now been updated.
